A New Fondness for Stamps and Ink

So while trying to get back into the swing of things after a long absence from my studio, I have adopted a new fondness of stamping, and stamping with wood, and stamping with wood, paper and metal. It just keeps going on!  I got into the stamping mood while trying to find something to relieve the stress of visiting my family (i love them but they can be a bit much sometimes). Usually I paint or draw but I was looking for something new and that's when I decided to go stock pile on inks and such and it's helped my stress so much. Now being back home I wanted to find a nice way to incorporate it into my work and here is a glimpse into the studio and whats going on. I find myself covered in ink at the end of the day and happy as can be, I love color so this hits the spot alright! Any-who let me know what you think.

Hoping to have a few pieces up for sale on Etsy soon!

Whats Happening in the Fibers Studio? Here's a peek!

Messing with fabrics and stuff as usual and making cute little clutch bags for the shop! I'm a big fan of spontaneity and impulse and these bags have no pattern I just made what I felt so these are going to be fun and unique seeing as each one will be different from the last. Some I'm making from bought fabrics and quilting squares and some I'm upcycling from clothes and upholstery from where ever I can find! Here are some peek photos of two of my favorites so far!

Peek behind the curtain.

Here's a glance at my two studio's that i have in my apt. One where i do all the messy work that involves chemicals, fire and just plain sticky icky stuff...like resin! Then there is my fibers rooms away from that, cant mix he two or it would be...well not too good.  When i look at these pics I can't help but think, wow i have so much stuff! How'd i get all of that stuff! Well yep there you have it the places where the creativity roams free!
