MY OFFICIAL SITE AND BLOG CHANGE

The past year has been an interesting ride to say the least, there has been loss, walls, many things to overcome, but as of recently I have had so much success with a recent and new piece that has kick started my business. As this has happened I am now designing my official site, which will be host to my store, blog, and much more.  Since I will have all this available there I will soon be shutting this blog down but i hope that you will come over and check out the new home of VMD soon  VMarieDesign.com . As of right now the site is under construction but i hope to have the basics up soon and little by little have it grow.

I LOVE CAD!!!

been busy as of late reacquainting myself with some CAD (computer aided design) software, getting ready to take on a few custom orders that require its use, that and its amazing to just have fun with!!!

Grasping for the Dream

Hello all I've been MIA lately busy working on a business plan to take out a small loan to get truly back into my original metalworking way... wish me luck its a long road ahead but its about time for me to grasp for that dream and not be afraid any longer...besides if i fail at least i tried and sitting back scared was giving up before i even gave it a chance....so here goes...i hope to be back in action concentrating on the V Marie Designs Shop....Good Luck to anyone else taking big steps and leaps for their future!!!

Finally back to work!

Finally after surviving these past few stress packed months my life is getting back to normal and I am getting back into the grove with some new creation and with a lovely new kiln in the studio I hope to be showing off a new line of porcelain jewelry! A New Fondness for Stamps and Ink

So while trying to get back into the swing of things after a long absence from my studio, I have adopted a new fondness of stamping, and stamping with wood, and stamping with wood, paper and metal. It just keeps going on!  I got into the stamping mood while trying to find something to relieve the stress of visiting my family (i love them but they can be a bit much sometimes). Usually I paint or draw but I was looking for something new and that's when I decided to go stock pile on inks and such and it's helped my stress so much. Now being back home I wanted to find a nice way to incorporate it into my work and here is a glimpse into the studio and whats going on. I find myself covered in ink at the end of the day and happy as can be, I love color so this hits the spot alright! Any-who let me know what you think.
